    Code of Conduct
Responsible behavior is a key expectation for girls and adults participating in Girl Scout Product Programs. Responsible behavior reflects trustworthiness, respect, fairness, caring, and citizenship. Participants are expected to follow all program guidelines as outlined in the Volunteer Product Program Guide and behave appropriately to ensure a high-quality learning experience and for the safety of all participants. By signing the Troop Agreement form, you are agreeing to adhere to the following Code of Conduct:

    • Remember -  I am a role model, my behavior reflects on all Girl Scouts and the organization
    • Be polite and courteous to customers, fellow Girl Scouts, and volunteers
    • Adhere to all sales start and end dates
    • Adhere to the set price of all product
    • Follow all social media, general safety, and online safety guidelines
    • Will not ask another business to place orders or sell product for a girl
    • Will ensure accurate banking information is submitted by the deadline
    • Will provide kind and supportive guidance and education for fellow volunteers and caregivers in how to model principles and practices that demonstrate appropriate decision-making and responsibility for our girls

Procedures and guidelines referenced in the Code of Conduct are detailed in the Volunteer Product Program Guide.

    Disciplinary Actions
We rely on our volunteers to kindly coach each other through making decisions that focus on educating the girls and making this a safe, fair, and fun learning experience for them.

If a volunteer or troop displays repeated behavior that does not honor the Code of Conduct or product program procedures, and does not correct itself after peer coaching, the council will consider whether disciplinary actions are warranted. These consequences will include forfeiture of rewards or proceeds and/or dismissal from volunteer positions. The consequence(s) will be carefully considered according to the degree of poor conduct displayed.

If you believe any situation threatens the safety of the girls, or their proceeds, please contact Council.

  • This agreement must be signed by an authorized signer on the Troop bank account and submitted before troop or girl materials will be released.
