Girl Scouts of Southern Appalachians is committed to distributing 100% of the funds raised through the Appalachian Strong campaign to Girl Scouts in our region who were impacted by Hurricane Helene.
If your troop or service unit was affected, we encourage you to submit a funding request by completing the information below. These funds are intended to support Girl Scout-related activities, such as replacing lost materials, covering membership dues, and ensuring the continuation of programming for girls impacted by this disaster.
While we strive to support as many requests as possible, available funds are limited. A committee will carefully review each submission to allocate resources where they will have the greatest impact on our Girl Scouts. Funding requests will be accepted on a rolling basis and reviewed monthly through September 2025, or until all funds have been distributed.
*Please note: While requests exceeding $200 are welcome, the committee will prioritize smaller requests ($200 and under) to maximize support for as many troops and service units as possible.
