Girl Scouts of Southern Appalachians is committed to distributing 100% of the funds raised through the Appalachian Strong campaign to Girl Scouts in our region who were impacted by Hurricane Helene.
If your troop or service unit was affected, we encourage you to submit a funding request by completing the information below. These funds are intended to support Girl Scout-related activities, such as replacing lost materials, covering membership dues, and ensuring the continuation of programming for girls impacted by this disaster.
While we aim to assist every request, our available funds are limited. A committee will thoughtfully review each submission to allocate resources where they will make the greatest impact on our Girl Scouts.
*Please note: While funding requests exceeding $200 are accepted, the committee will prioritize smaller requests ($200 and under) to support a greater number of troops and service units rather than allocating larger amounts to fewer troops and service units.
